Prof Dan Dumitrascu

Dr. Dan Dumitrascu is a professor at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Iuliu Haţieganu,” and Head of the 2nd Medical Dept, Cluj County Clinical Emergency Hospital Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He graduated the faculty of medicine Cluj-Napoca, Romania and has completed postgraduate training in Bucharest, Germany, France, and England. Professor Dumitrascu is a specialist in gastroenterology, internal medicine, and psychosomatic medicine (ICPM). He is also a Research Fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt and DAAD Foundations and a member of the Romanian Academy of Medical Sciences. His current appointment includes serving as Director At-Large of the Executive Committee of WGO for the 2024-2025 term.
