A/Prof Mohamed Alboraie

Associate Professor of Medicine and Gastroenterology at the Faculty of Medicine, Al-Azhar University and Armed Forces College of Medicine, Cairo, Egypt. 

Alboraie is a graduate of Al-Azhar University in Cairo. He is holder of master and doctoral degrees in medicine and gastroenterology from Al-Azhar University, membership and fellowship of the royal college of physicians of London (UK). Alboraie is currently serving as the Executive Director of the Presidential initiative for treating one million African hepatitis C patients, the president of the Egyptian Foundation for Helicobacter and Microbiota (EFHM), secretary general of the Egyptian Association for Research and Training in Hepato-Gastroenterology (EARTH), Vice president of the Egyptian Society for Digestive Endoscopy (ESDE), Secretary General of Egyptian Society of Crohn’s and Colitis (ESCCO). Alboraie is interested in viral hepatitis, liver fibrosis, cirrhosis, hepatocellular carcinoma, acid related disorders, Helicobacter pylori, microbiota, inflammatory bowel diseases and colorectal cancer.
